Picker Pals is a fun environmental activity programme for primary school children, their families, schools and communities. Through fun stories and songs and a special pack containing everything needed for litter-picking, Picker Pals motivates children to lead litter-picking adventures with their families. Picker Pals gives children the opportunity to make the world a better place.
Every weekend, three families in the school receive the Picker Pals pack and get to work in their local area to collect as much litter as they can. This has proven to be a very enjoyable and successful initiative and the benefits can be seen all around our local environment. Well done to all the children in the school (and their parents!) for all their work, and to Mrs. Mills for coordinating this initiative. All the photos can be found in the gallery.
