Our new outdoor ‘classroom’ went straight into action this week! This space gives children a break from the classroom, providing an opportunity to learn outdoors in a stimulating setting. It can accommodate up to 30 children for various activities including art, music, drama, reading, group work and some PE activities e.g., yoga. It also provides shelter during lunchtime on those damp days. The children loved learning outdoors this week, and the chalkboards proved very popular indeed at lunchtime! This is a fantastic addition to our school and will benefit all the children for years to come. Our Parents Association will be running a fundraiser shortly to cover the costs of this project.
