STEM Project

We would like to sincerely thank our Parents Association who kindly donated €3000 for our STEM (science, technology, engineering and maths) project in the school recently. This funding was used to install shelving, purchase storage containers and a huge array of STEM resources including: electricity kits; magnetism kits; model torso, skeleton, heart, ear, eye and lungs; Liquid measurement kit; model solar system; metal strip identification kits; stethoscopes; simple machines kits; rock, mineral and fossil collections; hovercraft construction kit; orienteering equipment; tangrams; classroom clock kits; pooters and magnifying glasses; and Numicon sets.

These resources will benefit all the children in the school, to aid ‘hands-on’ learning through self-discovery and guided-discovery. Keep an eye on our social media pages later this week for photos of this recent investment.
