The “Bee-friendly Ready to Go Window Boxes” that the 5th & 6th class Junior Entrepreneur Programme (JEP) team have been working on for the past few months will be on sale from tomorrow! The JEP team have taken their business idea from the concept in November through to a completed project this week. The window boxes come in 6 colours – white, blue, red, green, yellow and natural wood, finished to a high standard, filled with compost and planted with bee-friendly flowers. The “Sales Team” have fixed the price at €25 per box, which is competitively priced and takes into account the cost of raw materials used. Profits from the sales will be used for an educational trip for the senior room. Orders can be placed this week and collected from the outdoor classroom on Thursday and Friday from 3pm – 3:30pm. The “Marketing Team” will place the remaining boxes on general sale from next Monday. Well done to the entire JEP team for pulling this venture off – they have worked exceptionally well together and I have no doubt that we have a number of future entrepreneurs!
